There’s no question that the software development industry is dominated by male. Many organizations are working hard to get more female developers and to create products aimed at women. The first question that people ask is “Why aren’t there more women developers?”, followed closely by “What can we do to attract more women?”.

This panel considers these questions and then possibly throws them out of the window – are these even the right questions to be asking? Do we actually care about the answers?
